The true position of the victim of sexual violence in a judicial process – The premiere of the Monodrama “Prima facie” in the Bitef Theater

The legal monodrama “Prima Facie”, directed by Anja Suša and performed by Maša Dakić, will have its Belgrade premiere on January 26, 2024 at the Bitef Theater.

We are proud to announce that GSM Legal is one of the sponsors of this socially important project, which focuses on the treatment of victims of sexual violence by state and judicial authorities, and finally society itself.

Prima Facie was originally performed on May 19, 2019 at SBW Stables in Sydney, produced by the Griffin Theatre. It had its European premiere in London’s West End at the Harold Pinter Theater and in 2023 it won the most prestigious British Laurence Olivier Award for the best play of the season.

Former attorney, author Susie Miller, boldly re-examines the judicial process in cases of sexual abuse, asking questions that are of fundamental importance and sheds light on a problem that is very present in our judiciary, calling for the reform of the law on sexual violence.
