Jelena is an Attorney-at-Law specializing in intellectual property and information technology law, with a focus on advising domestic and international companies, including technology companies and startups, on digital business, development, and commercialization of technological solutions.

Her practice includes the protection, management, and monetization of intellectual property rights (copyright, software, databases, trademarks, and digital brands), as well as structuring and negotiating complex IT and commercial agreements (software development, SaaS and licensing models, including ERP and CRM licensing and maintenance agreements, maintenance and support, outsourcing, and consulting). She is particularly focused on structuring legal relationships related to software and digital products, including assignment and licensing of copyrights, as well as protection of source code, databases, and digital platforms.

Jelena advises clients on the protection of digital assets, online business operations, and data protection compliance, as well as on structuring business models and monetizing IT solutions through licensing models, partnerships, and investment arrangements.

In addition, she provides legal support in corporate and commercial law, including company formation and restructuring, corporate governance, structuring of transactions, and regulatory compliance, as well as representation in disputes.

Her experience also includes tax advisory and real estate transactions. She is particularly engaged in projects within the transport industry, advising companies on contractual relationships, regulatory requirements, and business digitalization.

Jelena graduated from the Faculty of Law, University of Belgrade, where she completed specialist studies in tax advisory. She is a member of the Belgrade Bar Association and is fluent in Serbian and English.
